Yan Wang joined Hodder Barristers as a junior associate after her call to the Ontario Bar in 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo. In 2007, she earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario, with a concentration in Intellectual Property, Information and Technology Law. Yan is fluently bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese. She brings a broad, international perspective shaped by her family roots in China and her secondary education in Britain. During law school summers, she completed a mini-pupillage at a prestigious barristers’ chambers in Lincoln’s Inn, London, England, and an internship with a leading national firm in Beijing, China. Yan is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
